The C table was a custom commissioned piece, part of a larger set with specifications provided by my client. He wanted very simple forms but wanted some distinctive wood and detailing. I suggested the oak burl with ebony inlay surrounded by the white oak that is common to much of the interior woodwork of his apartment. I provide these images to show just one of many possibilities of shapes and wood combinations
