Bristol Writing Desk

Bristol Writing Desk: Maple; 30″h x 48″w x 30″d ; $2500.

I created this maple writing desk for a wonderful repeat client who wanted a simple, elegant table and work surface. She said she liked the legs on my Bristol Dining Table so I modified them a bit to work with the shape and proportions of the table top size she wanted. The curved aprons and table top ends echoed the leg curves, giving the piece a light and airy feel.

This desk could be remade in a variety of woods, finishes and sizes. Though used as a desk, the same elements could be used and assembled into anything from a small to large dining table, or a table for another function.
