Corrina’s dresser, 32″h x 20.5″d x 66″l , cerused white oak case, gray varnished ash fronts, walnut legs. $5000.
Corrina’s dresser was a commissioned piece for a Boston client who admired both my Westport side case and Southport side case. I combined features of both, with the color/wood combinations of the Westport, and the Southport’s inset configuration of fronts in relation to case. I outfitted the solid maple drawer boxes with undermount slides and touch mechanisms to avoid all visible hardware and provide super smooth functioning. The deep textured continuous grain of the ash drawer fronts is dramatic and handsomely framed by the mitered oak case. The proportions work really well with only slightly taller legs than the preceding cases I mention. Just another example of the functional versatility possible when customizing one of my case pieces to your custom requirements.
