Niti Side Tables

Niti Side Tables: walnut & ebonized walnut; 27.5″h x 20″w x 18″d.

These elegant, mirrored/matching side tables were originally designed for a client’s foyer. They have similar lines and detailing to that of my Niti Dining Table. Made primarily of solid walnut, all parts, from the thick-veneered tops and shelves to the drawer parts are matched creating left and right mirror-image tables.

The ebonized walnut drawer fronts are notched into the tops of the legs creating a distinctive detail; they have a finger purchase/pull routed into their bottom edge. The drawers are precisely fit and slide smoothly on hand sculpted rails that leave the drawer sides exposed/visible (see detail image). All construction is traditional, fine mortise and tenon joinery. The tops and drawers are finished with a durable conversion varnish while the rest of the table has a beautiful hand-rubbed oil/wax.

These tables could be reproduced and adjusted in all dimensions for other specific uses/settings. I am happy to discuss and quote for other woods and finishes as well.
