Sonic Wave Speaker Stand

Sonic Wave speaker stand: White oak- solid and veneer; 28″h x 11″d x 14″w

I designed and built this pair of sculptural speaker stands for a client in Manhattan. The tops are shaped to fit the Bose speakers that he had. A small hole in the back allowed the speaker wire to chase down within the stand, and out at the floor. The stands are comprised of an internal framework that is built up and hand-shaped on its sides to accept the quarter sawn white oak veneer that is then glued on all surfaces.
