Delaware Storage & Display Unit

Delaware Storage & Display Unit: walnut, maple, lacquered hardwood plywood; 102″h x 72″w x 18″d.

This large storage and display wall unit was commissioned by great clients of mine who also purchased one of my V-Benches. I used some of the bench’s lines and angles for inspiration in designing the walnut shelving for display of their art pieces. Lighting is recessed in aluminum channels on the undersides of the tops and next two shelves down to fully illuminate all the open spaces. There is lots of adjustable shelving and solid walnut drawer boxes that are all contained behind flat panel doors and fronts with push latch opening mechanisms. The top drawer contains a unique drawer-within-a-drawer for efficient and flexible storage options.
The color was chosen by my clients and then matched in a super durable pigmented conversion varnish for the sprayed finish.
